Something doesn't add up here. Eggs are a great source of vitamins and protein, that are necessary for healthy growth of children.  A relatively cheap source as well.

It has been proven that an egg a day is recommended for growing children. Why are Africans not consuming more eggs,

Eggs are affordable, they are easy to transport, they are hygienic as they come with their natural shell package, need hardly any refrigeration for the short term, and full of protein, which is needed in a healthy diet.  They are versatile and-

THEY TASTE SO GOOD!

* Imports of Vegetable Products in South Africa averaged over 2 billion Rands from 2014 until 2020, reaching an all time high of almost 4 billion rands in April of 2020.

Even if nothing is done to increase the consumption of greens and eggs per capita in Sub-Saharan Africa.  the growing population makes for an inescapable enormous growth of the food industry,

(unless we collapse it and need to import it all.)

Because...Whatever happens: People  need to eat.
